Travel Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical | $2,500.00 Per Week 40 Hours | All Shifts

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted to the medical-surgical unit. This role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the medical-surgical unit.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitoring patients' conditions and responding to changes in their health status.
• Providing patient and family education to promote understanding of treatment plans and self-care techniques.
• Documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) may be required depending on the setting.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently in a high-stress environment.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
