Requirements:

Must be U.S. Citizen.
Possess one year of experience within the last three years as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant.
Completion of Physician Assistant residency in Orthopedics or similar training.

Duties:

• The scope of privileges for an Orthopedic PA includes the outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation for patients of all ages to correct or treat various conditions, illnesses, and injuries of the extremities, spine, and associated structures by medical and physical means.
• The Orthopedic PA provides medical services within the scope of practice of the collaborating Orthopedic Surgeon.
• The Orthopedic PA also provides perioperative care in conjunction with the treating surgeon. In addition, orthopedic PAs may assess, stabilize, and determine the disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy.

Start date: 

• As soon as possible pending Federal Security Clearance process completion (typically 4-6 weeks after initiation)

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Week-Days
• 8 - Hour Shift

Ability to commute:

• You are required to have reliable and safe transportation and are expected to commute to and from the work site.

Experience:

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience
