Requirements:

• Must be U.S. Citizen.
• Possess a doctoral degree in clinical psychology or neuropsychology.
• Completion of a 2-year, post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology
• Possess a minimum of one year of experience in adult clinical neuropsychology. Experience shall not be inclusive of the post-doctoral fellowship.

Duties:

• Conduct individual or group therapy sessions by generally accepted principles of the American Psychological Association.
• Intervene as a crisis counselor or defer to a Mental Health duty provider in situations requiring immediate psychological treatment, such as substance abuse, suicide attempts, psychotic episodes, and other instances by standard MTF policies.
• Provide Specialty Procedures and Cases: Active Duty Crisis Intervention. Acute psychotic episode evaluations. Suicide threats. Gestures. Neurocognitive symptoms. Brain-Behavior relationships. Psychological/neuropsychological assessment of cases.

Start date: 

• As soon as possible pending Federal Security Clearance process completion (typically 4-6 weeks after initiation)

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Week-Days
• 8 - Hour Shift
• 7:30 AM, 4:30 PM

Ability to commute:

• Alamogordo
