Requirements:

Must be U.S. Citizen.

Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy

As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in
the Service-specific credentialing instructions.
Successful completion of an internship and residency program (corresponding to
the specialty required in the TO) which has been approved by the Accreditation
Council for Graduate Medical Education or the Committee on Postdoctoral
Training of the American Osteopathic Association. Subsequent to obtaining a
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree, a candidate must have had at
least 1 year of supervised experience providing direct service in a clinical setting
(i.e., a 1-year internship or the first year of a residency program in a hospital or an
institution accredited for such training). For purposes of this requirement,
graduate training programs include only those internship, residency, and
fellowship programs that are approved by accrediting bodies recognized within
the United States or Canada. Descriptions of such programs.

 

 

 

Duties:

 

Contractor personnel shall perform a full range of duties consistent with their labor category, education, training, experience, clinical privileges (as applicable), and assigned position. General duties that apply to all personnel or across certain labor categories are given below. 

. Perform efficiently in emergency patient situations following established protocols, remaining calm, informing appropriate persons, and documenting events.  Anticipate potential problems/emergencies and make appropriate interventions.  Notify supervisor, director, or other designated person regarding problems that the HCW is unable to manage.

Operate and manipulate automated systems such as CHCS, AHLTA, ADS, Essentris, MHS Genesis and Clinical Information System (CIS), participate in clinical staff Performance Improvement (PI) and Risk Management (RM) functions, as prescribed by the Commander. Maintain DOD email account as directed. The HCW shall be responsive to all email and voicemail communications.

 

 

 


Start date: 

  • As soon as possible pending Federal Security Clearance process completion (typically 4-6 weeks after initiation)


Schedule:

0730-1630 Monday – Friday Shifts will normally be scheduled for a 9 hour period, to
include an uncompensated 60 min lunch break. In no instance will the HCW be
required to provide services in excess of 40 hours per week. Duty Hours: 0730-1630
On Call Hours: None
Overage Hours: None


Ability to commute:

  • Reliably transportation is required and expected for commuting to and from the work site.
